We met on the plane. He was a handsome forty something and rather intelligent. He told me he had 5 degrees as he waived his hand, but somehow he didn't come across as arrogant. He had a psychology background (amongst others) and he read me like a book.
I said I was going home to see my grandmother, and he said "Mum's mum?...Girl's are always closer to their Mums and in turn, to your Mum's mum".
Now he had some interesting observations (refer to previous post), compared to my rather face value ones...short man - tall man, curly hair - no hair.
This man had a rather interesting job and despite being extremely tired, he apologized for closing his eyes but continued to converse with eyes shut.
hi
ReplyDeletemany times you meet very interesting people when you travel.i have had a fair share of such incidents.once i was flying to london from frankfurt.and i had to go to new york on an important mission.though i tried my best i couldn't get a london-new york ticket.now the guy who was sitting next to me didn't speak a word throughout the flight till the fag end.he wanted to go to the toilet and requested me to make way for him as i was sitting in the aisle seat.when he returned and the flight was about to land we picked up a conversation.i told him about my plight.he gave me a contact number in london and said his chap would put me on the flight. i coudn't believe it but i did contact the person who was a travel agent and he did the booking.
