Funny Sightings

Ever since my family has been involved with the digital SLRs, my little camera has been rather neglected. But on my last trip back to KL, I thought I'd just put it in my bag for "just in case" moments.

And here are two of those...

Lost in Translation

I find that signs are often directly translated from Malay / Chinese into English and the result is usually quite funny. I do the same because that's how my parents talk but I'm so accustomed to it that I don't even realise what I'm saying is wrong.

A few typical ones (try translating these to Chinese and you'll notice it makes perfect sense but not quite in English):
> Why you like that wan?
> Very funny is it?
> Correct or not?
> Yes or not?
> Only now you know.

Snoopy on the run

This was an extremely amusing sight during peak hour traffic - and trust me KL traffic is ugly. I don't particularly like stuffed toys in the car. I think its distracting and potentially dangerous. But this offered Mum and I a good chuckle.
