Malaysian Poh-Wer

After scoring my first goal for the season (thanks to a wonderful pass from Koops), the rest of Sunday evening was spent glued to the t.v watching the Masterchef Final. Though many felt the need to boycott the finale after Chris was kicked out, the show scored outstanding ratings...apparently the highest for a non-sporting event.

Would have loved Poh to win - she created some very exciting dishes throughout the show but it was quite disappointing to see that the last dish was Hainanese Chicken Rice. I'm sure it tasted great, but Poh is loved for her intriguing and sometimes "disgusting" looking compositions. Having said that, I'm not overly shocked Julie took the crown of Australia's first Masterchef given whenever she had the opportunity to speak, she'd pull at the heartstrings of the judges and the viewers.
