Redecoration Galore!

My living room has been redecorated! There was a lot of heavy lifting and sliding with the help of towels to avoid scratching the floor but the effort was worth it. The room looks bigger and my jewellery mess has been stored away...

The Rupert has set up home in the corner and the stacks of books and folders are now hidden inside. Much chicer I say.

I swiveled the piano to the corridor. I was asked to give it away but in an attempt to save it, I found a perfect fit in the empty hallway. I admit I don't play it much, but the fact that it's there gives the place a nice cosy vibe :)

The whole t.v area was rearranged. We did a mirror move almost, switching t.v from wall to wall and changing the couches to face the opposite direction. A rug was added...perfect for the coming colder months. For some reason the switch made the room look a whole lot bigger. Weird.

Much neater I must say, but Rupert has been holding back my creativity. I have a torch on the shelf for when I have to raid through the containers of materials and by the end of it, I no longer know what I want to make...but as Picasso says,  "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working". I've been working.. so come to me!

Flowerdale Report:
Before I forget, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Flowerdale relief. 50% of U-Fhern.com profits from February and March sales were donated to Flowerdale, a small town devastated by the bushfires. I drove up to Healesville on Good Friday and you don't appreciate the loss until you see it for yourself. Hundred year old trees were black and burned to the ground. The only thing left of homes were roofs crumbled to the ground. Having said that, people were out and about and green was starting to show from the ash filled soil. A total of $291 was donated to the Flowerdale Trust. Although the amount may be small, its something to help with the efforts flowing towards rebuilding the lives of others. So thank you again! xo
