Thank You...

I am quite the emotional girl. I get a heavy feeling in my throat when I hear kids sing a touching song, I'll cry at weddings and I get teary listening to speeches.

I celebrated my twenty first early before leaving for Beijing with some of my closest friends and family. The night was filled with lots of tears (on my part) when I received a surprise video from my best friend in Manchester and when my Dad spoke.

Pretty pretty cupcakes

I spent the eve of my 21st with the flu, curled up in bed and feeling terribly homesick. I thought to myself that I would have a terrible birthday because I was in a new city with friends I hardly knew and I was missing everyone back in Melbourne. But the day could not have been further from what I expected. I had the perfect day with filled with food, shopping, dancing and good company.

I miss you guys!

So as I was approaching 22, I thought it'd be hard to match turning 21. But it was. And this time with those I love so dearly...

Yummy Tiramisu (home-made by a baking goddess)

I got the heavy feeling in my throat listening to addresses at my graduation ceremony, when a dear friend was forced to give an impromptu toast and when Daddy messaged to say how proud he was.

It has been an extremely busy few weeks but equally rewarding because I've been able to spend it with you. Thank you for all the wishes and lovely presents. But more importantly thank you for all the support you've given, the shoulder you've lent, the guidance you've given and the love you've shown.

Love always,

Uey
