This neckerchief has all the bright colours of summer and was a birthday gift some years ago. I swear SJP wore the same one around her arm and then on her head in an episode of SATC. It often brightens up classic bags and has even made an appearance on my brother’s neck…

You have no idea how long it took me to find this photo! I remember Carrie wearing the neckerchief in a scene where Samantha is drooling over a Birkin in front of Hermes...what scene, what episode? No idea! Then...the episode was playing on Foxtel the other night and it was my key to finding the pic...so tada! And it was a sign it was about time I blogged about these pretty silky things.

Once as I was power walking around the city trying to burn off my lunch, the neckerchief I had tied to my handbag had come undone and flown away.

Thankfully, before I came to the realization that the bright bow had disappeared, a small old man came running up behind me huffing and puffing, waving my neckerchief. I couldn’t thank him enough. As hard as it is to be given a gift that is practical and pretty, it is even harder to find someone honest these days. The old man made the rest of my power walk a much happier one.
